The Defence Department are after MacKay's maps already, although he returned from his epic central Australian aerial explorations just last Sunday, obviously no idea how long it takes to translate photos to maps, could be Texas Green the Minister is after some urgent information for C.A.G.E. and Lasseter's explorations.

But Larkin and MacKay's mates on the expedition write to the Prime Ministers Department suggesting that the newly discovered lake in central Australia be named lake MacKay, as is his style MacKay demurs but his mates insist although the suggestion may not get past the Government, they seem to have an intense dislike of the wealthy pastoralist and his successes.
