Blakeley and Sutherland prospect the interesting quartz outcrop they noted last Friday, excellent material but too far from anywhere. Much of the hottest part of the day is spent in the shade of dense mulga as some relief from the heat and flies, it's obvious the Thornycroft was built for cooler climes.
