Fred Blakeley and George Sutherland continue having a good time in Broken Hill and make plans to be in Quorn tomorrow, Blakeley has heard nothing to improve his impressions of Lasseter, who is idling away in Quorn. Lets see, Blakeley and Sutherland in the 'Hill, Coote and Taylor in Sydney and Blakiston-Houston in Melbourne, at least Harry is in the van. I can see Coote's hand in the transport arrangements and the Bailey's in every thing else.

Terry and Bird blacksmithing and Williams hard at work, breaking down bulk supplies into manageable man and camel loads when the fourth member of the expedition, Ted Colson turns up with his camel string and his Aboriginal camel man Mick, and most important, two sharp watchdogs.
