The Terry camp has a detailed discussion on the local geology and Bird decides they are camped at the eastern end of a very large diorite formation, nearly four to five miles wide, therefore future prospecting will continue west to trace out the extent and to map any cross cutting quartz reefs and lodes. Many specimens dollied this morning but no trace of gold. Colson off camp by 7.00 still searching for Harriet Springs all the way back to last Wednesdays camp, returns mid afternoon with nothing to report, Terry concludes it is incorrectly marked on the map. Light rain begins at 11.00 and continues most of the day, late afternoon confined to the tents.
