Taylor and Tucker get as far as Temple Bar Station when the camels play up to the point of becoming unmanageable, another hand is required, Taylor returns to Alice Springs for help. 

Terry decides a planned trip to the Basedow Range will have to be done by camel as there won't be enough petrol to get the team to Horseshoe Bend . The track is not easy, first gear flat out. Set up in the station quarters and  collect a truck load of firewood for Mrs. Staines. Proceeds to overhaul the truck.
