Coote and Doctor Kirkland fly to Hermannsburg and decide to overnight, apparently the message doesn't get through to Alice Springs, Carrington make preparations for a search starting tomorrow morning. 

Taylor returns to Alice Springs. 

Terry Williams and Bird continue to thoroughly overhaul the truck, all things considered the vehicle is in fairly good condition.  Gives the truck a try out by bringing in another load of firewood for station. Bridge with Mrs. Staines after tea.
