Taylor and Tucker still travelling south and Coote still hanging out in town, starting to get bored and arranges to travel with Colson to Harts range to relieve the tedium until Taylor has arrived at the Rock. 

Colson arrives at midday much to Terry’s relief, they can now move on. Takes stock of stores and supplies and keeps sufficient to last until Oodnadatta. Afternoon tea with Mrs. Staines and away at 4.30, make 32 miles for the afternoon.
